In a rush attempt to exit Genesis I completed editing in Spring and uploaded my work to Spotify and Archive. What I should have done was take a copy of the hosted file as a backup before replacing it. In the past I made it part of my routine to playback the segment in full looking out for errors delays or in this case audio glitches such as an overlap.

I messed up in such a way I almost cried. I held back the tears of frustration and betrayed that I overlooked a simple mistake. And what sucks the most is I can see where I slipped in my editor at the last 15 to 14mins there was a brief transition where I had extracted audio and timed entry points for pause and restart.

Though I’m tempted to go back and fix this, it would take a month to restore.. The Audio resides on ElevenLabs and videos and pictures are scattered. I know error is to human, but damn it’s just so much to take in. I promised myself I would move forward into the next chapter. Though it pains me to do this, we are moving forward.

For that reason, I am sorry for the glitch. In an oversight of happiness I trashed all my files from my android which was a grand total of 19 GB of work. Due to the size Google/Samsung was not willing to let it hold in the recycle bin,simply scheduled for immediate destruction.

What’s Next? If you recall in Season 1 the layout and voices were done with Plotagon Story. The cost of using AI in general is extensive, that is normally limited to creating and output for voices in the form of a package. There are multiple ways to go about this, but I do have a lifetime license for Plotagon and the voice pack is 4.95 each month in comparison to $20+ anywhere else.

First then first. I will create the doc for Exodus and Script the personality of how each should appear and be. Second create the character template and assign a voice, and once I have Narration in place the first test file will go live on Spotify as a placeholder that will grow until that segment is completed.

Then again.. OMG! The file was extensively damaged the ending is gone. I have to put some thought into this today as I may have to start over. I’ll keep you posted.

:) Crisis averted, I reinstalled ElevenLabs and found my ending. This will be Uploaded to Servers. Good I was NOT looking forward to backstepping.
